What these wallpapers are

Each Bible verse wallpaper here starts from a real page of verses, chosen and annotated by hand, so the words on your screen were picked for the moment you are in: grief, anxiety, a wedding, a long wait. Pick a topic, choose a verse, and the background, type and colour are already set for it. The verse is placed where your phone’s clock and buttons will not cover it, and the type is sized to be read at arm’s length. Previewing is free. Sizes and why they matter

A wallpaper that is the wrong shape gets cropped by your phone, and the part that gets cut is usually the end of the verse or its reference. Each size is laid out on its own rather than stretched from another.
